My Design Process

Every garment I create is custom-made specifically for you. To keep the process transparent and give you greater control over your budget, I provide two separate quotations.

1. Labour

Your labour quotation includes the design process, patternmaking, fittings, garment construction, and all the craftsmanship that goes into creating your bespoke piece.

2. Fabric & Materials

Fabric and materials are quoted separately. This allows you to decide how you would like to source them while ensuring you know exactly what your garment requires.

Your fabric quotation includes:

  • A detailed list of all fabrics, linings, notions, and trims needed.

  • The exact quantities required for your garment.

  • An estimated cost based on a trusted fabric supplier that stocks suitable options.

  • A list of recommended fabric shops should you wish to source the fabrics yourself.

You're welcome to purchase your fabrics from the recommended supplier, visit any fabric store of your choice, or source them elsewhere if you find an alternative you love.

If you'd prefer not to shop for fabrics yourself, I'm happy to purchase everything on your behalf. Many clients find choosing fabrics overwhelming, so I'm always happy to take care of the process and ensure that the correct fabrics are selected for your design.

Whether you source the fabrics yourself or I do it for you, I'll provide clear guidance on the most suitable fabric types, colours, textures, and finishes to achieve the best possible result.

By separating the labour and fabric costs, you have complete transparency over your investment while still benefiting from professional guidance every step of the way. My goal is to make the experience enjoyable, stress-free, and to create a garment you'll love for years to come.
